COMMUNITY SCREENINGS (NOT IN A MOVIE THEATER) - USA

Thank you for your interest in bringing The 11th Hour to your community and using it as a tool to educate others!  Screenings are a powerful way to educate and inspire community members to become more involved in building a more sustainable world!

The procedure for organizing a community screening involves contacting the non-theatrical distribution company called Swank to discuss obtaining the rights to publicly screen the film.  Swank representatives can be reached at 800-876-5577. Swank can provide a 35mm or DVD version of the film. DVD’s are also available for purchase at your local video store or on Amazon.  There is a licensing fee involved in obtaining the film which varies depending on the usage and size of the audience.  The folks at Swank can discuss all the available options and pricing.

Please know that if it were up to us we would love to share The 11th Hour for public screenings free of charge since the purpose of the film is to bring awareness about the environmental crises of our time and to inspire action. However, Warner Brothers is the distributor and as such we are bound by the procedures and protocol set before us. We sincerely hope that you will still chose to move forward in planning a screening of The 11th Hour for your community.

You may also want to consider organizing a Q & A with your local environmental leaders to follow the screening.  A panel discussion and Q & A adds tremendously to the overall experience of the audience and gives them an opportunity to ask questions and find out how they can become active in their own community.

Thanks again for your interest in sharing the message of the film with your community. Our goal is to continue to build momentum for positive action through the screening of the film and our online community at www.11thhouraction.com
