HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL SCREENINGS (USA)
Thank you for your interest in bringing The 11th Hour to your school community! A screening is a great way to educate and inspire students, teachers and parents to become involved in building a more sustainable world.
The procedure for organizing
a screening at your school involves contacting the non-theatrical distribution
company called Swank to discuss securing the rights to screen the film.
Swank representatives can be reached at 800-876-5577. Swank can provide you
with a 35mm version of the film or a DVD. DVD's are also available
for purchase at your local video store or on Amazon.
Please be advised that there will be a fee to license the film for your screening. However, it is possible that your school already has a blanket license on file with Swank. Many schools will pay a one time annual fee that allows for any Warner Brothers film to be screened in a classroom setting. Swank representatives can tell you if your school has a blanket license and if not, how to go about obtaining the proper license for your screening event.
Please know that if it were up to us we would love to share The 11th Hour for free since the purpose of the film is to bring awareness about the environmental crises of our time and to inspire action. However, Warner Brothers is the distributor and as such we are bound by the procedures and protocol set before us. We sincerely hope that you will still chose to move forward in planning a screening of The 11th Hour for your school.
Thanks again for your interest in sharing the message of the film with your community. Our goal is to continue to build momentum for positive action through the screening of the film and our online community at www.11thhouraction.com!- 597 reads
