My wife started the G Team at our childrens secondary school, we have organised activities on a weekly basis. Raised money and awareness of the environment and green pursuits. Got local businesses to donate a chalet to act as the G team HQ as School have no budget. Kids painted and set it up. Planted 200 trees.
Challenges:
Findng new ways to grow the team, need to find ways to make 'G' cool with the kids 12-16YR Group!
Take the 'G' team national, affect policy and attitude to green at the Govermental Level
on-going. There is never an end to instruction in a lifestyle pattern as each new generation needs to be taught and each preceding generation needs to be reminded.
