Our Beginning

Status:
In Progress
Description:
I am  the process of creating a "What you can start doing..." list to post on the side of my white panel van that my boyfriend and I share.  This is the best way I can think of to get people started down a path of change.  Aside from that I have been buying everything possible from local sources and organically when possible (If it's local organic).

Voting with my MONEY!

Description:
There is an AWESOME Neighborhood CO-OP in Carbondale.  They purchased $71,000 worth of goods from LOCAL farmers in 2007, and they have bigger plans for 2008.  They sell a plethora of organic goods and lots of supplies (nutritional, educational, and otherwise) for those of us who have choosen a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.  Co-Op shoppers are rewarded with charity monies (wooden nickels) when they bring their re-usable grocery bags.  The Co-Op encourages active community participation with regular events open to everyone, and every shopper is invited to become an owner by the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Well its time to bonsai...

Status:

Description:
Well its time to bonsai...I guess thats how i see my life.  Re potting, trimming off the old, the dead and the unusable in order to start shaping and wiring my life back into a beautiful form to increase harmony with my surroundings. It may be a weird analogy but i think it fits the way i see the world.  We are all bonsai and in order to achieve harmony with our environment we must change things about ourselves. wither it be how much we drive or the products we buy or whatever...but in the end we must bonsai our lives to rebuild our world.

Living with Conscious Intent

Description:
Living with Conscious Intent
I have left my footprints in the wind as i travel a path of conscious intent. The womb of nature has caressed my spirit and inspired me to facilitate positive change as i seek to advance human understanding. I walk a rainbow trail where i embrace the world with love . Mine is a passionate vision nurtured by Mother Earth . Through exploraton and expression i seek to enhance the flow of positive energy for my fellow spiritual travelers. The simplicity of the soul is enchanting and endearing , it generates peace and love and inspires me to embrace the infinite life force while being a catalyst for conscious evolution.

May the soft winds freshen your soul and may feed your mind with true knowledge while you voyage to the universe within .

Changed 1/3 of the lightbulbs in our house (we had 75 to switch out, so it's still a W.I.P.).

Got rid of the Le Sabre and started driving the Focus.
