11th Hour National and International Tours
We look forward to bringing The 11th Hour to schools, communities, and corporations both nationally and internationally. For inquiries about where we are touring, email us at info@11thhouraction.com. For more information, read below.
11th Hour Action, the social marketing campaign that accompanies The 11th Hour film, has been organizing special screenings for a number of different US and international partners, including corporations, local governments, the United Nations, schools, universities, NGOs and community groups. These include: Coca Cola, Hewlett-Packard, Deutsche Bank Japan Wealth Management, UNFCCC, National Geographic, Live Earth and many more.
11th Hour Action is seeking to run a series of high level screenings in countries all around the world with filmmakers and experts from The 11th Hour. Along with the screening of the film, 11th Hour Action will host a Q&A session after the film with local environmental experts, experts from the film, and directors and producers from the film. A reception may or may not follow the Q&A. The purpose of these screenings is to raise awareness around the urgent state of the earth’s deteriorating ecosystems and to provide solutions and pathways for change.
The 11th Hour film is supported by the 11th Hour Action website that helps people work together to find and implement solutions. We are seeking to launch a international versions of the 11th Hour Action website alongside the Chinese screenings.
We have seen first hand the impact The 11th Hour has had on audiences - they come away with an urgent desire for action and change. We have seen US republican mayors put solar panels on their town halls. We’ve seen the Canadian government protect millions of acres of old growth forest. We have seen spontaneous groups react to the principles of the film to take sustainable action together.
11th Hour Action
brought the 11th Hour Film to 21 university campuses this spring and
will continue in the fall. Our primary aim is to engage and activate
youth in taking leadership in the sustainability movement. Along with
the screening of the film, 11th Hour Action hosts a Q&A session
after the film with local environmental experts, experts from the film
and directors from the film.
Our tour is completely funded by our sponsors, Hewlett Packard, and
requires no additional funding from the campuses, only their
participation.
